  • 2lb Country style ribs
  • 1 Medium Onion (Chopped)
  • 2 Green onions (Chopped)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • .25 cup Celery (Chopped)
  • .25 cup Bell pepper (Chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley (Chopped)
  • 4 tablespoons Butter or oil
  • 2 teaspoons Dr. Meaux’s Cajun Recipe Seasoning
  • 6 cups Water


Step 1 Season ribs and set aside.
Step 2 In a large pot, 8 quart or larger, melt butter or heat oil on medium high heat. Brown the ribs well on all sides.
Step 3 Remove ribs, add vegetables and sauté for a few minutes (just long enough to pick up the juices at the bottom of the pot)
Step 4 Add ribs and water.
Step 5 Cover and simmer, adding water as needed till the ribs are tender and gravy is reduced to ¼ inch from bottom of the pot.
Step 6 Serve with rice and vegetables.
